  18. ‚Ä¢ To remove a single point, click on it with the Selection tool.
  19. ‚Ä¢ Use Cut from the Edit menu, or press the Backspace key.
  20. ‚Ä¢ Note that this opens a closed path.
  21. ‚Ä¢ This also automatically selects all remaining points in the path.
  22. ‚Ä¢ Using the Backspace key at this point deletes the remainder of the path.
  23. ‚Ä¢ To remove a section of a path, click on the curve or line to delete with the Selection tool, select Cut, or use the Backspace key.
  24. ‚Ä¢ The line or curve is deleted, but the points on either end of the deleted section remain.
  25. ‚Ä¢ Again, the remainder of the points in the path are selected.
  26. ‚Ä¢ If you used Cut, you can now Paste the path elsewhere in your illustration.
