- • To remove a single point, click on it with the Selection tool.
- • Use Cut from the Edit menu, or press the Backspace key.
- • Note that this opens a closed path.
- • This also automatically selects all remaining points in the path.
- • Using the Backspace key at this point deletes the remainder of the path.
- • To remove a section of a path, click on the curve or line to delete with the Selection tool, select Cut, or use the Backspace key.
- • The line or curve is deleted, but the points on either end of the deleted section remain.
- • Again, the remainder of the points in the path are selected.
- • If you used Cut, you can now Paste the path elsewhere in your illustration.
